Is this the correct tool for the front sight base screw on a No4 MkI?
I've tried valve a stem tool, soaking in kroil and a homemade tool. It's not budging!

No, that tool is for removing the striker (firing pin) from the bolt body. All you need is a simple schrader valve disassembly tool. Soak the screw in Kroil for a few days, reapply the Kroil a few times every day.  If that doesn’t loosen it, try a bit of heat.

The prongs on my schrader valve tool split open like a banana peel when I tried to back out the screw.
I'll keep Kroiling....
The description of the Numrich tool reads, "Features A T-Handle With A Front Sight Adjuster On One End And A Screwdriver Tip On The Other End".

Well, you learn something every day! I did not notice that, and I think I have that very same tool. I’ll take a look at it tomorrow. The front sight tool I use is circa 1960’s, so may be more substantial than the current Schrader valve tools available. I’ve never come across a front sight blade screw that is too tight to remove. You may have to use some heat to free it up.

You need a better quality schraeder valve tool. Try your local auto parts store.

I got it! I made a tool out of a T15 bit tip. Some careful slotting of the bit tip with a dremel and the screw is out, oiled and snugged back up. My Savage had a .015 front sight that was so loose, you could almost move it with your fingers.
Thanks to all for your suggestions. Cheers!

FWIW: I cut the end off of a junked Phillips Head screwdriver and then cut a notch in the tip to fit the Grub Screw...

I was given 2 of them. They came with the front sight pushers for the SMLE & the No4.
