I’ve seen these in some of my .303 competitive shooting books (James Sweet for example), but never seen an actual example. It would be a nice accessory to have. Measuring rim thickness with a caliper is not very precise because of the radiused edge, and the case head may not be exactly planar.
I’ve not tried to validate the claim that a cartridge with an unusually thin or thick rim causes a “wild shot”, but consistency is important for accuracy.
