Your New years traditions ??

Here on New Years Eve there of course there is the standard rituals involving food and drink until the way hours after midnight.

 

New Years day is customarily celebrated with a feast of Ham, Black-eyed peas, and cabbage to bring prosperity and good luck to the new coming year. And for some the watching the American Football games that are played all day

 

I would imagine the large meal would be a welcome relief to the hang over from the night before.

I sized some brass tonight and did a ritual toast to the New Year at Mid-night.

    I worry about your "Nocturnal Habits", Hatch !  I can see the writing on the wall ! You & Roo going out for a few 'Quiet ones' & the Pair of you waking up the following day on a Russian Fishing Trawler that's heading for Antarctica! with 'I love Fish & Chips' tattooed across your Foreheads!!!!!!!

   Or even worse (yes it can be worse!) Waking up in a park some where & you both have 20cents in your hands & a sore Arse !!!!!!!!


       Personally this year as I was on Day shift I was in bed tucked up (after giving very explicated orders to all & sundry of the fate that awaited any person who banged on my door or rang me at midnight) by 2200hrs !!!!!!

Don't worry Hatch....I promise you will have some good stories to tell!!
We don't have goon here....but there are no shortage of substitutions and I can also offer outdoor, subzero, night air rifle shooting....lots of fun, just ask Mean 17!!

My resolution is to thin out the amount of cats around my neighbourhood.

I will wait until monday for that though..........still not feeling 100% since new years eve
