he!!o again! I'm probably getting annoying by now. I mentioned in my last thread that I got a repro Enfield forward hand guard from Ebay. I started getting it fitted when I realized that the channels for the barrel bands are in the wrong spot. They're about 4 mm too far forward. Just far enough that the metal cap doesn't fit under the nose cap.
I've tried finding photos online to see if the barrel bands are in different places from the No1 MkIII to the 2A1, but it's hard to tell. Could someone here with both do a quick eyeball for me? I'm going to contact the seller about a refund or replacement, but I don't want to have to pay for shipping to England. |

My 1914 BSA No1 MkIII measures 10 3/8" from the rear of the nosecap to the front of the band groove.Sorry I don't have an Indian rifle to compare.
