Wanted Enfield no4 bolt head number 3 or 2. A friend bought into the Sarco Enfield deal ad needs the above bolt heads. Looked at my normal sources and nope. Anyone have a go to place or one for sale? Please drop me a private message or post in this thread if you can help. Later 42rocker

Best thing to do before buying anything; is measure the bolthead that he has on the rifle.
The number's are an indication of size, but not a guarantee! It's often noted that sizes do vary and you may find a No2 that is actually bigger than a No3 etc. If you know the size of the original, maybe two or three thou extra is all you need to get you into normal headspace. That may be a bolthead with the same number as the one you have; it's pot luck if you buy without measuring first. There was a survey done a few years ago of bolt sizes compared to stamped number; not sure if it's still on the internet; but it made interesting reading.

It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice!
