I’m new to the forum, but own three Enfields. I just acquired a Parker Hale Enfield custom 1 for my daughter.
So question for Canuck, would you happen to have another A27 scope mount? If not, does someone know where to get one. |

Welcome from Phoenix Arizona SwampDonkey. Check with Addleyprecision.com The scope mount they offer accepts the use of Weaver style scope rings.

Thank you, Welcome to Phoenix Azirona
If my search for the Original PH mounts turns up nothing, this will be the mount I’ll get. It looks well made and thought out (especially the centering block). I may even replace my TO-01 with it as to be able to use Weaver rings on my other rifle. As for my PH rifle I would love to use the original mounts as it is already tapped and i think it “looks” right .

If the rifle still has the charging bridge, there is another PH scope mount that uses the charging bridge and the top of the reciever as mounting points.

I can vouch for the quality of Addley mounts. Rock solid. They are not a low mount, but I have a walnut cheek piece on the Enfields that use this platform. If I didn't, pretty sure I'd have more "scope ring" scars than I already have. S&K has a very sleek, low mount that many members swear by. Not sure if they make one for your application.

I acquired a PH Custom No1 complete with PH scope mount but cheap non-PH rings and scope. I had a real pigs ear zeroing, on inspection I found the upper part of the mount distorted to the point of rendering it useless.
You can pay as much for the mounts as I paid for the whole rifle, so that was a no go for me.
My solution, not as elegant as the original, was to remove the top bit of the mount and mount a section of Picatinny rail. This opened up the options for rings. A rock solid cheap and easy solution. |
