I've got these tools from "the big lot" of Enfield parts I've been sorting. Does anyone know what they are for?

They are not something I recognise.
I remember well some years ago buying a 'box of Enfield bits' and in amongst them was a small carton (brown, typically military style) that held : 100 small silver coloured 'mushroom' with a short stalk, and a rounded 'head' which had a 'flat' on one side. Less than 1/2" overall length. I hunted high & low, asked ex-armourers, friends and enemies but no one had ever seen them before. A couple of years later a guy was rooting around in my 'bits and pieces' chest when he asked 'what are these doing in here ? It turned out they were used for supporting glass shelves in display cabinets. The 'stalk' pushed into pre-drilled holes (at varying heights in the cabinet side) and the mushroom rotated until the flat was on the top. One front & back on each side and a plate of glass laid on top. Job done !! It is best never to assume, it just makes an "ass out of You and me"

Thanks for the help everyone. Pisco, would you happen to have a picture or an explanation of how that would go together or look? I'm having a little trouble visualizing it.

I can see the similarity though. I think these are homemade and not factory parts, there's a good amount of dykem and etching lines on them still.

I may be misremembering here but, I have seen that round retainer bit used to hold a nylon insert with a bearing inside that on a lithograph conveyor belt.
