COLLINS BROTHERS .303 BOLT ACTION LEE ENFIELD SPORTING RIFLE

Come across the below for sale on a UK auction site. Never come across a Collins Brothers conversion before. Any insights please.

A commemorative of some kind for these guys?
"On the 11th of November the guns fell silent in World War 1, the war to end all wars.  A war that they said would be over by Christmas, when it started in 1914, took the lives of millions across Europe. In Waterford some 4,800 people volunteered to join the army and fight the Kaiser of those 1,100 were killed.  One tragic story is of the Collins Brothers from Philip Street in Waterford City.  Six brothers joined up and four of them were killed.  Waterford’s Band of Brothers"
Unfortunately its still just a sporter which is reflected in the price.

It look like a standard Parker Hale sporter, possibly the retail shop selling it was 'Collins Brother - London'

I agree with Plonker

I'm not sure. The Collins brothers store wasn't "Collins Brothers Ltd", but "The Southern Armoury".
If it was a dealer selling it I'd expect the store mane not the owners?

It looks exactly like the Churchill premium I had yrs ago they has the blk painted rounded forestock.
Check the top of the barrel to see if it says Churchill or Gibbs etc .
But I imagine that style of stock could have been gotten by anyone wanting to convert these rifles.

Lead from the front; eliminate all obstacles...
