I think what might be happening is that  you're seeing is your near zero with the heavier load/lower velocity. At some point, they will meet again



I had this happen just the other day switching over to some 180's, and they were really high. I thought my SMLE had come apart somewhere. After some head scratching, it came to me.  If you look at the bottom of the graph, look at the 150 yard mark and go up to see they both share a 150 yard zero, then look back at the 50 yard mark, and 100 yard mark,  the bullet path is higher. We just happen to be shooting where they don't share the same POI
