Well, with our current availability problems, there is no ammo or reloading components available to tax anyway. I was reading that primers are going for $200 and up per thousand here in the US. Some have paid way more than that at auctions online. At that price, I’m sitting on $8,000 - $10,000 worth of primers. That’s ridiculous. I might have to put them in the safe, they are worth more than their weight in gold.
Just wish I had more small rifle primers and powder....

I wonder how this (tax)or something like it works in unison with the Pittman Robertson act. Theirs already an 11 % excise tax on sporting arms and ammunition. The tax is designed to provide aid for restoration of states wild lands and management. Surely their would be some redefinition for distribution of current funding that may not be advantageous to the current status quo or jurisdictions who are already prospering.
