Just watched a Netflix movie titled “ The Siege at Jadotville”
It depicts a UN mission by Irish troops in the Congo. It shines a bright light on the corruption of the UN and politicians in general. It does a great job of showcasing the honor an bravery of the Irish soldiers involved.
Many close up views of British arms circa 1965 or so.
Worth the watch!!
There are no Americans in Baghdad!!

Zed mentioned it a few days ago. I had watched it before but I watched it again over the weekend. It is a good movie.

Yup. "Sniper" is a South paw and made (of course a movie) a shot with the Bren from a roof top that was awesome! Thinking about it, if sharp eyed movie watching British weapons fan watched that scene and took note of the rear sight elevation, they could calculate the shot distance.
