The other day I retested the Lapua 200grn  .3105" rebated boattail.  The 5 groove barrel gripped the bullet quite nicely too.
I have been working up various loads using IMR3031, IMR4895, and IMR4064 with starting loads of 33.0grns and a max load of 37.0grns. What I have concluded is that 35.5grns of IMR3031 gives the most accurate round between the three powders. The averaged FPS is 1877. WLRM primers were used as well. Ten round groups of under 2.5"-3.0" at 100 yards seems to be the average with one or two flyers every once in awhile. Spent cartridge cases look no different then a new cartridge case with no split or ruptures. I am loading these in small batches so each cartridge gets exactly 35.5grns. Cases are trimmed to 2.19" and OAL is 3.00"
Next test and tune I will be using the Caldwell tripod and sandbag to see just how accurate this particular round is. The last two ten round groups I shot were from the prone/unsupported and standing positions...
