Good morning,
New to the world of Enfields, I recently purchased an LB and am in the process of adjusting the bolt  which is not matching to the rifle.
I have already had good advice on another forum, but I have a question about the contact of the left bolt lug into the frame.
Concerning the support of the left lug when the bolt is closed, is it only there?
(Area outlined in yellow)
Thank you

Yes, that looks like the left side locking lug recess. The contact area is fairly small, and corresponds to the surface area on the bolt lug.  Full contact is not necessary, but you do want to have both left and right sides showing about equal contact.

It’s a No. 4 Mk 1*, not No. 2 Mk 1*

Also note that if you are fitting a new bolt; you should only adjust the bolt lugs! Not the receiver contact area; which is case hardened which is apparently very shallow.
It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice!

& to overstate the obvious. You remove material from the lug that prints MORE which allows the one printing less to get more contact.Thumbs Up
