I recently gave up on storefront retail as it left me no time for my manufacturing, and all the chain stores moving into the area took away all my profits.
Here are some links to what I am specializing in now. .45 acp conversion, standard and suppressed versions. gun builds will become available about the end of this month. http://www.specialinterestarms.com/Enf45.jpg http://www.specialinterestarms.com/MVC-119E.JPG http://www.specialinterestarms.com/5839.JPG I'm working on a 45-70 conversion. The caliber change is not hard, the magazine is still being worked on. 7.62x39 conversions, these had to be delayed for a while, I should have them back in production soon. http://www.specialinterestarms.com/MVC-186S.JPG 7.62x39 Tanker, http://www.specialinterestarms.com/MVC-349E.JPG 7.62x39 Sporter, http://www.specialinterestarms.com/MVC-193E.JPG We also have an M-14 magazine conversion available for the Ishapore 2A. We have to fit these up ourselves due to variations in the 2A receivers. More products and special guns coming soon. |

Seems to be the way of the world these days ! The Big faceless bastard forcing the little bloke out ! Great to see somebody making a go of breathing new life into Old Enfields! There are many Wild cats based on the .303 Brit ! You should look at some of these as once they were comercial rounds here in Auz & I think ,that many 25-303s were used in Canada !

I could go fro a 2A that takes M14 mags. That would be great especially for those unfortunate souls living in a ban state

The 7.62x39 tanker conversion looks interesting. Might be a good starter centerfire rifle for my daughter.
I would certainly be interested in a 45-70 conversion. Something for the black bear or mountain lion that might have a bad attitude. A long range shot for me is 100 yards. I've had bear following me in the woods as close as 30 yards or so. Mountain lion have been following me in the woods as well. Saw the really big cat tracks following mine when I doubled back on the way home in falling snow.

The 7.62x39 conversion was designed with youth and ladies in mind.
Recoil is not much more than a .22 magnum, just enough to feel like a real gun. I am hoping to increase production by selling more of these in kit form, so spending less time fitting them up to receivers and parkerizeing the assembly. |

It looks like it, but does it take unmodified AK mags? How much is it expected to be...I think I found my next rifle!

In answer to questions above.
7.62x39 conversion currently uses WASR single stack mags. Feeding from directly under the bolt works better than the off-set feeding of a staggered magazine. I did do a prototype that used high-cap mags, I was not real happy with having to remove metal from the bottom of the receiver so that the mag. sat high enough to feed properly. I may revisit this later. Without an additional license for export there is very little I can send down under. Magazines and barrels are both controlled, the yearly registration for export permits is now something like $2,100! Sold out of the first run of .45 acp conversions, our second and much larger run is only waiting for barrels to arrive. |

Montana Rifleman called today, the new .45 barrels are completed, about three weeks early.
Hurray, now I can assemble more kits! Despite an 11% increase in barrel prices I am holding the price without change, for now. |

When you see how nice the latest version is, you will want to order one of Century Arms crusty mis-matched "Good" No. 4's!
I'm going to offer the "K" with a barrel lock-nut, as used in the .45 kit and Savage rifles. This will make it much easier for novice builders to complete the conversion, head-space becomes very easy to set. The latest CNC manufactured magazine adapter should be a "Drop-in" with no need for fitting in most rifles. For those who prefer it, I intend to still offer barrels with a conventional shoulder as well. |
