Sorry to ask the same question as you last post. I just aquired a dewatted(SP?) Enfield, and would like to know it's origin.It is stamped as a #4MK1 on the side where the bullets are loaded. On the left side just above the trigger it is stamped as follows: M 4 7 1943 A47841 AL #### Also on the Bayonette there is Q.O.R stamped on and also on the shoulder plate. A "C" broad arrow is on the wooden stock.I will try and post pictures when I figure out how to. The barrel has been plugged and the firing pin welded, thus making it legal to own up here in Canada.
