I only used the six inch because they were left overs from Easter mate!!!

Personally I prefer the 6inch nail over the 4 inch ,as I have found the 4inch to be to dangerous! As there's to much chance of missing with the hammer & hitting your fingers Cry

I guess the 6 inch is ok if you sharpen the point a little as the point is too large for the dia of the primer, plus, I have a whole box of 4 inch and I would have to buy 6 inch.
