Fouling? That is irreverent. If the shotgun was cleaned properly after each use there would be no fouling.

Cookie Monster , I have had my 1100 Remy for over 20 years never had trouble with it unless I shot winchester ammo... Im not that crazy over the 1100 I prefer a pump shotgun instead. But My Step Dad gave it to me one X-mass so He didnt have to buy me some thing for X-mass. His way out was a treasur of a gift for a 16 year old kid that loved to hunt all the time.
We lived in the Floriada panhandal at the time and I had 1000's of acres of forest to hunt. thats what I was talking about when we went to your place for a hunt. same type of terrain as your place....

My son, a friend, and I have been out small game hunting the last two days. Between the three of us we put several squirrels in the freezer. It rained on us yesterday off and on and however today it was clear with a heavy frost this morning. My son and I used the Model 1400 MKII Winchester with no incidents, cycled flawlessly each time it was used. After each hunt it was cleaned and oiled so it will be ready next time it is called upon for use. |

Yes-as it should be...when I brought mine to your place last March it was filthy-admittedly.We discussed that..& the reasons why.(You NEVER see that with ANY of my other firearms).Since then the s.o.b. has been cleaned to within an inch of its life-DURING & after every use.It doesnt matter what we do-it heats up & shuts down.(Modified may have sumthin to do with it).I used to shoot trap with it in large matches-no problem.Have a snit of a time tryin to shoot sport clays.
