yeah my suster and her fianse are up.  Along with a couple cousins.  launched off fireworks till we ran out.  The launched some homemade ones.  Ran out of them so we started shooting holes in a piece of ply board.  The 12 gauge 3 1.2 inch made some hell of some big holes.  Then shot a few hundred rounds of .22LR.  Found out  a .303 FMJ has quite a bit of penetration.  Shot at an old car rim.  Made from 1/8 inch steel.  Went in side out the other the penetrated the dirt about 2 inches.  So through both sides of the rim equals 1/4 inch of steel and 2 inches of dirt.  Dug the bullet out.  Now it may have been the other type I was shooting.  It mushroomed nice. Aprroximalety double in size. Weight retention was fair.  Come to think of it it might have been the PMP SP 150 grain.  Tomorrow I'm going with them to launch off some "real" fireworks.

Yea shotgunminister, I shoot at steel pigs and chickens on my range. they are cut
from 3/4 inch steel plate from the shipyard down the road.and the Enfield .303
round will put a crater @ 3/8 of an inch deep and send the pig for one hell of a flip.
my .30/.30 just splaters when it hits them. i was shooting 174 grn bullets in each if i remember right. I just cant waight to get my raing finnished. then i want to build me some resetting targets. them will be fun. if the welds dont break.
