Over the years I have owned & used most of the Wildcats on a .303
Brit case . The two i would have used the most are the 25-303 (Of which
I still use ) & the 270-303
There was a time in the goldern age of the .303 converstion that Companies (Long gone now ) Offered factry ammo in several of the 22-303 range ,243-303,25-303,270-303 ! For some years now I have had to form my own Brass using what was known as a "Vice Type " FL resizing die by Simplex ! AS the name implies you fitted the case into the die & then forced it home in a vice .Not unlike a LEE hand tool with the exception of it being FL resized ! I have just found that Simplex now offer a set of forming dies for a # of wildcats in 7/8x14 ! Looks like there is going to be a 270-303 in the safe in the not to distant future Dave |

Do you change the barrel out, or modify the existing barrel? I don't know anything about converting to a new/different caliber. Eric |

No it's a simple case of rebarreling & with the exception of a
couple of the .22-303s the forming of brass is just a case of sizing
the neck back to the desied cal
