Just how tall are ya, Allen???
And for the record i have 3, 91/30 Moisan Nagants  1 unissuid and 1 arsanal refinish and 1 Finn junker with miss matched parts. also have 2 M38 moisans and 2 M44 moisans 1 M44 is unissued. and 3 Nagant pistols also. As for the rest of my colection, my Wife has made me build a room just for them. since she did that I'm going to go ahead and open a Guns and Ammo store. started the Ball rolling today, actually yesterday, turned in the request for my Business Lic. today, will hear back from the Police Jury in January, then i have to take it to the Sheriffs Dept. and they will issue the lic. then go to the Feds. and get my FFL, i will be up and running in about 4 to 5 months probably. then its GUNS and AMMO Heaven!

yeh i was probably exagerating a bit there WR..im 5ft 11, im not far off the statement thoughLOL. seriously i took a liking to one there.  '43 manufacture..laminated stock..rough as guts finish on the barrel/receiver..extremely nice example of russian history...i like the fact that the ivans flogged em out of the arsenals at the peak of " s**t hitting the fan time"..! and their still standin the test, and cheap as chips too..rifle, sling, bayo and cleaning kit and a coupla hands full of ammo for 300 bucks..happy camping!
anyone for another kebab??Big%20smile

I picked up one of mine for $79.00 before S&H . and they do look like the high school metal class had a go on the lath with them. unless you get one with the Hex receiver.  they are starting to go up though, they might be starting to dry up. and they are fun to shoot too.
My brother came over one week end and i brought out a few rifles to shoot, well every time he shot one of the moisans he pulled down and hit 3/4 the way down the range then i put an enfield in his hand and he started hiting the pigs and chicken, he said the ruskies are nice but he liked shooting the Enfield. Mind you he has C.P. and he doesnt controle things that well as you and I would. but i think the nice pull on the Enfield did help him a lot.

I guess when I went into lawrence the bloke was preoccupied with his paperwork.... it was a bloke around 30 at the counter.

It also didnt work in my favour that I am 21...... I bet he has kids coming in there all the time going "cool you have guns" and wasting his time.

your right hatchetman...whislt i was in there..i reckon about 20 people come in and were makin silly remarks about his displays and stuff.i think its due to the fact that its in a very high tourist\footpath traffic area. the bloke i was talkin to was in his mid 50's and went ny the name of simon, and im under the impression he's the numero uno. go back and try again..hopefully you dont get that grumpy guy you had before... along the back wall(facing you when you walk in) is simons personal collection..holy crap its huge..he has a no4T there all original..to break the ice when i first walked in i offered him 50 bucks for it!!LOL we both laughed  then he calmly said no( i dont think he knows my sense of humour yet..go figure) ill be goin back soon..im eyin off a mosin..and also, after i refinance the house for the k98 he has there.Cry
