found that some men of the 60th Armored Infantry Battalion ( a unit of the 9th AD) ar buried here.

i will post some photo's here of my visit.

I'm planning to visit the memorial in luxembourg (http://en.tracesofwar.com/article/7778/Memorial-9th-Armored-Division-Phantom-Division.htm) and visit in the same time the museum in diekirch (http://www.mnhm.lu/www/usa/museum/index.php) next week or the week after.

did visit the 2 us cemetary's in belgium.
henry chapelle and ardennes.

still working to make the exell list complete.
including a link to the file on the abmc site.

will post some photo's of the cemetary this weekend.

and second news-update

since yesterday evening i'm the proud new owner of a dodge wc52.
she will need a lot of work and spare parts , but the base is still good.

photo's will folow this weekend ,  making the pick up tomorrow :)


past wednesday , whe visited the OMG event ( remembrence operation market garden in veghel).
it was a very good organised event.

many vehicles present, including a dodge wc 60

and newsupdate:

the bed, once  cleared of garbage, didn't look like a 52 bed at all.
also the extra shock absorbers did loook like a 64.

after posting a pic on the KTr forum everyone was shure  -  this is a 64KD that lost it's KD part.

will take a little longer to restore , taken there isn' t that much info on it.
