I'm quite new to the world of Lee enfield rifles. Their reputation as being fantastic shooters prompted my purchase. I can't find another rifle that looks like mine unfortunately, and I was hoping you fine gents and ladies could help me out.

Well it's obviously been sporterized; that is it's had the full length wood cut down for a lighter hunting rifle. Can you try and post some photos of the markings found on the wrist and the receiver. Then it will be easier to find accurate information on your rifle.
It looks like it still has the original front sight, which is good. It means the barrel has not been cut down. If that's the case it would be quite easy to refit full spec woodwork etc. |

we could tell you more with close photos of the wrist , reciever , bolt , sights [back of the rear sight if original] and any other markings you see ,
