I'm hoping someone from the UK who was issued a L85 and was left handed how they dealt with being forced to shoot right handed or by shooting lefty with the rifle tilted sideways. I know other more recent bullpups eject down instead of the side but IIRC the Styer AUG and the L85 are the only active bullpups that force people into unnatural shooting. The world is against us poor left handers....
I don't know why it never occurred to me to ask someone when I was stationed in the UK and was actually around guys carrying the L85. Either way I'd appreciate hearing from folks who dealt with this obvious attempt to eliminate us leftys LOL. |

If I get knocked down 6 times I will get up 7 times.

You could just about fire the A1 left handed with your head tilted, but I wouldn't advise it with the A2 which has something akin to a Vulcans ear lobe for a cocking handle!
Kiss goodbye to your front teeth if that hits you! All British military rifle training is right hand biased, so southpaws just have to suck it up and get on with it. |

Owning a gun or knife and not using it, is akin to not sleeping with your girlfriend to keep her neat and tidy for the next dude.
