---THIS IS A PURELY HYPERTHETICAL QUESTION---

Would it be possible to load a 303B and a 7.65x53 with the same weight bullet, powder charge and powder and get similar ballistics ?

....assuming a No. 4 action and at least a M96 action....

In my Hoddgon manual, the only match projectile weight Wise between the .303B and the 7.65x53 was @150 grs. Listed min/max data using H4895 for .303B: min load 38.5 grs = 2388 ft/sec. Max load 42 grs = 2479 ft/sec. 7.65x53: min load 39.5 grs = 2341 ft/sec. Max load 43 grs = 2597 ft/sec. First, I must caution you on loading ANY bullet to maximum load!!! Don't do it! If you look at the min load of both bullets, very similar performances. I suspect a powder load somewhere around the middle between min and Max would give very similar bullet performance between the two calibre's you mentioned. Again, reload safely!
