When I converted a very nice, matching numbers No4 Mk2 into a sniper clone I installed a DAI scope mount. I've been underwhelmed by the looks and performance of this mount. I've already installed two Addley Precision mounts on other Enfields in my stable, and wish to do the same with the clone. Now the shame on me part. The DAI uses the screw (bolt) hole that attaches the safety to the rifle. It comes with a hex head replacement. The Addley uses the screw (bolt) that holds the ladder site in place. I've torn my man-cave apart but cannot find the original. If any of the members has a spare they would be willing to sell, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

You need the screw that holds the safety spring to the stock wrist, yes?

Its the same bolt that holds the spring for the butt trap to the plate, you might even have one there?

Shamu. I checked. It does have a screw. The head of the screw looks a little thicker. I'm heading out in 1/2 hour to elk hunt so I don't have time to try it.
