Welcome to the forum. I am going to assume from your photo that you require a butt stock for a No5 Mk1 Enfield. The MkV Enfield is a rare beast but a butt stock can be found for it. The No5Mk1 butt stock can be found on eBay, Numrich Gun Parts, Sarco, and DixieGunWorks.

gonna play tony here -
this is a perfect example of needing the correct nomenclature as these two rifles are very different items and the part you desire is totally different on each , the no 1 mk V buttstock is the traditional no 1 without the disc and should be findable on the market , the no 5 mk I buttstock has a very unique sling swivel and it has a cushioned plate assembly that is hard to find intact original but has been reproduced well , cannot be certain from your photo but i think you are showing walnut also guessing but the forestock appears to be a no 5 needing the end cap , but the photo is not confirming that - im also guessing thats the only handguard as a no 5 would have

G'Day
The fore stock's end cap is removed to help the cleaning process. Yep some had caps and some not. Mine has an Queensland maple butt (very light colour, yellowish) I'd like to get a walnut butt to match the rest, all the numbers match, bolt, magazine, barrel etc, I think it was refurbished in Australia. But could be wrong. It is apart at the moment getting a good clean up,as it sat in a cabinet for a long time neglected before I purchased it, bore is 8,9/10. I will put pic on post soon. you can see the differences below.. These pics are from an Aussie site and are for sale top one $1,300 (Aust $) bottom one is an experimental model with long bayonet at $10,000 + (Aust $). Bottom one is a BSA,with front swivel on the side? (the white bits front and rear is clear plastic gun stand). Look up the site usedguns.com.au. |

Hi guy's sorry for late report.
But importing wood of any type into Australia is a big issue. All imported wood is radiated by customs at a price of about $ 200 per piece to kill any bugs etc that could be in the wood if you don't pay it's destroyed. So I will have to keep my eyes open for some thing in Australia. Bummer big time.

If you have not found your butt and are considering giving up on the project, I'd gladly negotiate a fair price for your forend and forestock.
