what i got was restoration of an abused '86 colt lightning - i had seen it before , my experience with the colt lightning and its clones ends up with me not owning one of these , i have a nice collection of "cowboy" rifles but this is lacking till i find one that works ,

that said do hold your enfields dear , there are no more being made and it is why i seldom add to the threads that change them - unless done well on already lost rifles , im a purist to that point , i am not opposed to saving a lost cause or salvaging one that has been abused beyond normal saving
