Goats meet .303 in dawn encounter

   Ah Sunday Morning !!!!! Day of Rest !!!!! Not for the Damned Goats round here it wasn't !!!! I got a call last night to tell me that there were Goats happily feeding in one of our Paddocks in low country ! So it was up just before dawn & then up around their only real escape route! I took the Long Branch with me & a box of the 180 gn Factory loads (PMC)that had come with the rifle . I figure I've got 200rnds to get rid of ,so why not ! I managed to re lease  7 goats from their Earthly burdens in a very short amount of time!  I could of continued the hunt, But !!!!! For the fact I have a bad case of Shingles round my Left hand side of my Torso & I'm not feeling the best !

	I'll have you know Mr Sugden .I went to the Doc's on Friday when I got back from Roxby top have these damned Shingles seen to as their infected (home cure that went wrong ) & he informed me I have the Body of a 18yr old !!!!! In the next breath he informed me to give it back as I was giving it wrinkles ! Your quite right though ,I've got to start living my age not my shoe size ! Dave

	nice hunting Dave, hey ya might have to invest in one of those electric buggy things to get round in, nice and quiet, comfy, and a beer holder in the console !the ones i deliver to the old folks even have a basket on the front, to carry all your ammo

	I can see dave on a modified 4*4 gopher with the orange flag, with a spotlight rig set up and a rifle in a scabbard

	I'm actualy thinking of getting a Quad !!!! Though I picked the kids up another bush basher the other day& am thinking of cutting it right down into the shooting buggy from Hell Dave

	We have these little Minni trucks being sold around here for around $3000.00 a peice .Not street leagal but has a dump bed on it with all 3 sides folding down like a truck tail gait and you can get them in 4 wheel dive with AC and Heat. they are importing them from Japan or China. Dave the one with 4 wheel drive and AC and Heat would be great for your place. from what I have taken from your postings over the years, You have a lot of area to cover. You could put about 6 or 7 Goats in the bed of one of them little trucks. If I had more usable land I would get me one. I should get one just to drive down to the Naighbors house on. But ClayMore face would call the cops on me . A good pair of hip wadders is what I usually need to get around on the back of my property. But that is getting hard to do for me since My Knees are starting to give out. I messed my left knee up in the Army . Opened my eyes up one day and was looking at the bottom of a boot and didnt realize that it was my foot till I got up to run and I whent right back down . you talk about some pain....

	Actually a quad will probably be ideal for the ground you have to cover mate. Quite a few blokes are supposed to be using them up in the territory as hunting rigs.
