To you too.

We've been getting Nannie nags from the local TV stations round here for a week.

You can put out yer eye with a firework, so no fireworks please.
You can burn yourself & your house plus the next door one by BBQ ing, so don't do that.
Riding bycycles & motor bikes is dangerous so don't do that.
Flying the Stars & Stripes might irritate someone, so just let the one the town is flying be symbolic of the one you shouldn't fly.

I'm lighting the BBQ after riding the bike to the store to get more apple-wood chips, the ceremonial black powder blanks WILL be discharged in a safe manner, & if you don't like the flag flying, feel free to move to a country where they don't fly it. (on a one-way ticket of course).

I respectfully suggest we all fly the flag, smoke a pig, makes lotsa-lotsa noise & smoke, & drink to the health of the U.S.S. in the shade of old glory.Hug

(just for today y'all unnerstan')  "UP THE BRITISH!"

Don't shoot till you see the whites of their thighs. (Unofficial motto of the Royal Air Force)

AHEM! 1 july for us Canucks, mate! (We're 143 yrs old, now)That what makes the holiday weekend so good..1 July for us & 4 July for 'Mericans.Given that 90% of the Cdn population lives within 100 miles of a U.S. border-that makes for some GREAT parties!! & since we aint fought since we kicked 'Merican butt in the 1812 festivities..it means the party shall continue in perpetuity!! PARTY ON!

I took my 1903a3 to the range on the fourth and the range was almost empty and not a range Ninja in sight.  Shot fairly good too.
Have a Nice Day
If already having a nice day please disregard

yup - 1st for our northern neighbors and 4th for us - made for one long party weekend , hope all were safe and sound ,

my group actually spent time discussing the 'reasons' for the celebrations and thanking those who are serving now to insure we remain the 'land of the free and the home of the brave' , there was a wee bit of discussing current attempts to alter that as well
