It is not Consper. It is actually stamped .303 2.222" 18.5 Tons Per □" Would not mind seeing the rest of the rifle... |

These are UK MOD release from service markings. Indicating the calibre, cartridge case length and chamber pressure of the .303 Mk 7 cartridge.
Note that the units of pressure (tons per square inch) use a unique British Axial Pressure measuring method that does not correlate to other typical standards (US Copper Units of Pressure or Piezo Peak Pressure methods). |
