Hi,

My name is Tom.  I am a retired educator with a love of military history and firearms.  I love buying and selling old guns.  Researching both topics is a joy.  I started doing this 30 years ago.  A man told me buy the gun buy the book sell the gun keep the book.  My strongest areas are WWII and Civil War.  I just acquire three Enfield's and I am waiting on a book on the Lee Long Enfield.  I am looking forward to what you all can teach me.

welcome from MN , land of rocks and cows , oh and we have a few lakes too , but lots of taxes , 

you have hit on two of my three areas of interest yet my US collecting started around our revolution and continued to at least VN - most are gone now but i still have some , 
my commonwealth interest started in about 1873 vintage through VN as well , most of thats gone now as well , 
i concentrate on the 22cal trainers these days because i still shoot them ,
