   Hi all,
New member to the forum but long time Enfield collector. I have a particular love for cavalry carbines, but generally collect just about anything Enfield/Metford with dalliances into other British military rifles, revolvers, and machine guns back through the Martini. 

I'm a U.S. Navy surface warfare officer, so I get the pleasure of shlepping all my rifles across the country every couple years. Happy to be here and looking forward to being a contributing member to the forum.

	I hear Hoadie was in the Confederacy Navy. He serviced on the CSS VIRGINIA. He serviced with Moose and Squirrel.

	Big "HOWDY" from Texas. I have a nephew in the Marine Corps who has so far avoided sea duty but I think that will eventually catch up to him.
