Welcome aboard AWESOMECOOLTART! Can we call you ACT for short from now on? My fingers get sore easily typing such long names. It's the arthritis. Except for the right index finger, that is kept limber as a wet noodle.

Minnesota huh? Grew up in Wisconsin then moved to Maine. The weather isn't much different from Minnesota/Wisconsin to Maine. We have been negative almost the entire 2nd half of December until now. The temps you're boasting of in Minnesota are nothing we're not use to here in Maine lmao. Still neither of us holds a torch to Alaska.

Be safe, -20 is not fun. Time to stock up the fire, get some more beer, TP and a few Lotto tickets.

Bin colder HERE, than Alaska of late.
T'other day up in YELLOWKNIFE (where my niece & her fiancé moved to) the HIGH was -37, not including windchill..but that's up there. Further south the "'Peg" has recorded the coldest December in 150 years!, & here in Southern Ontario its one severe cold weather alert after another. Up at the cabin it was -37 last night(in the town) so it would've been colder @ the cabin.(I just can't figger how the deer & moose survive in this )

Holy smokes..The Manitoba Museum has now said that the temps in the "'Peg" are / have been equal to the temps being recorded by the Mars Rover!! Watched a news reporter today - she took boiling water & poured it into a cup, then threw it up in the air..It vapourised & disappeared ! Yep..bin cold alright.(I bin in a blizzard since 5 last night.)
Hey Rhino..maybe now is the time to buy that airboat you always
wanted!

I feel bad for all the crazy weather.  It is 50 degrees (F) daytime high with a low of 29 (F) overnight in NC. A light rain started at 1.00 pm.
