Amazing hoadie! That is definitely some cold weather.  What is the warmest it gets there, say during the summer months?

During warm spells it will get over 100F plus the humidity.(When your sandwhiched twixt 2 great lakes, it makes for some pretty heavy humidity) When Rhino & Lisa was here in August, the heat broke when they arrived. We had GREAT weather (mid to high 70's) & NO humidity. Rhino & Lisa were VERY comfortable. I tend to sit on my deck & fall into the pool for a few secs to get rid of the humidity.(Course, the cold beer helps, too)

Well, my above ground pool stands a little over 4ft high..the snow has almost covered it completely. I KNOW where the smoker is supposed to be - but I cant see it. During the day I was leaving unopened cases of beer on the deck..but they froze SOLID!
Went out this a.m. @ 0530 - shoveled & used snowblower till 0900. Dang garage door wont close now! Anytime now I suppose it will start snowing & blowing again...& the dang garage will fill with snow!
..Great White North my ass!

Canada IS referred to as" The Great White North".
on a related note..ANY exposed skin will result in frostbite in LESS THAN 10 MINUTES! I found out how quick your wet hands will freeze to metal this morning. Hands were damp from washing..went outside to brush more snow off truck side window. I knew - the second I grabbed the aluminum snowbrush - had to come inside to thaw them out!
Oi!

This cold crap is starting to head south now.

It is going to be 16 tonight and 9 on Tuesday.

So much for global warming.

I hear whole herd of gnomes are moving out of Canada moving south. I am unsure where the herds are going but at this rate it will be will be in White Rhino back yard soon.
