USMC1775 you may want to work that out with biker wrench no sense in running the price of that rifle up when we are on the same team here. Either way good luck to the both of you.

Just in my opinion.

I like the rifle as well, but I would never knowingly bid against a fellow member after he or she has allready bid on it. It drives the price up and may cause a conflict and a misunderstanding with a fellow member. I see all of us as a close-knit group thus working together as a team. Now if he or she decides that they do not want the item then I may bid on it.

I have before looked into to bidding on a rifle and later found out that a fellow member was interested in, we among ourselves came to a compromise and both of us got the rifle we wanted at a cheaper price.

Remember this is only my personal opinion and how I feel ethically. And members may do what the feel and what ever they are comfortable with outside this forum.

Bob is being a gentleman and very considerate by running these by us. Again, no sense running the price up amongst ourselves.

Go for it. I have too many projects going now.

Already past my max.
There is a No1 Mk3 in my future, just not this one I reckon.

Yea Wrench that is the only bad thing. Gunbroker runs the price up some. Good for seller bad for buyer. I have found all my deals at pawn shops and gun shows. I sit back and wait and then pounce on a good deal.

I find that looking for the auctions where the seller has misspelled something or there is a mangling of the numbers is where bargains can be found. My No4 Mk2 (ROF 5/50) was listed as a Mk11, and his typo let me grab it for $220.

You were smart to pull out early.

You may take my Enfield. From this cold and lifeless hand.

i gotta agree , perhaps the right P14 or M17 , but , too high for that - on the other hand we could all take it as a sign and revalue our rifles :>}
