Hi, sort of new to site.  Was on in 2018 looking for help identifying my Enfield,  Life got in the way and I forgot about it.  So I'm back looking for help again.  I have 27 pics to help but cant figure out how to add them.  I have many people claim what my rifle is but none I was able to substantiate. If anyone can tell me hoe to add pics I will do so ASAP. I red FAQ's but still don't understand. I have owned this rifle since i was 16, Its time to identify it so info and rifle will be passed to my heirs.  Thanks for your assistance.Big smile

Easiest, simplest, quickest solution to your problem would be to pop over to Gunbroker.com and type "enfield" in the search box.  Look at the photos and find some rifles that kinda-sorta look like yours.  Read the description.  That will at least help you narrow down your search, so you'll know whether you're looking at a SMLE (Short Magazine Lee-Enfield) or a Rifle No.4, for starters.  Once you know that, life will be easier.  After that, it gets more complicated.

Tim.
The easiest way is to use the "POST REPLY" button, not the "quick reply" dialog box.
Open it & look at the top "bar. There is an "tree" button.
type your text, then click on the tree.
That opens the photo upload dialog box.
click on "Browse"
go to the directory the image is in & clock on it.
then hit "UPLOAD" & it goes to the forums photo host & is added to your post at the point where the cursor is.
Its a one shot thing so you need to browse, upload & then repeat for each image you want.
once you have some images uploaded you will get a list when you hit on the tree & so you can re-use one image many times.
There IS a size limit, so you may need to downsize large images first.
