Thanks again buddy,
Just Kinda miffed me when I searched the actual IMR database, which is combined with Hodgdon, and they didn't have many listings for 303 British.
But then again your edition of speer listed some more and my newer version had only one listing and I'm sure much fewer loads then your older version of the same manual.
Just thats the way it goes as the Cal slowly becomes less popular.
I say we convert all the '06 guys to 303

While 3031 is a great powder I am using a great deal of Varget (2205?) these days. H-414 comes real close to 3031 in vesitility also. |

When I'm using pistol bullets (around 100gr) I load them over about 12-15gr Unique. They go about 2000fps and are surprisingly accurate. It's a good short range pest and plinking load.

Thanks all for the info, them pistol projectiles should make for some fun plinking....
Now to just come up with the money and order the Dies.... I looked the other Day at Cabelas but they didnt have what I wanted in 7.62x54R and didnt even have any thing in .303 .....
I guess I will have to order them from Mid Way.... they usualy have a great assortment and very good shipping time.
Tillman got His .357 Dies in with in 5 days or less... But He still has not reloaded any yet.... I think He is scared of them , He tells me He wants to shoot some more befor reloading the few spent casings that He has...

In 303 I find IMR-3031 more forgiving than H-4895. For some reason both H-4895 and Varget can get overpressure in a hurry in 303. IMR-3031 and RL-15 seem to be good choices for 303.

It's a unfortunate thing over here in Auz Years ago due to a agreement between Clinton & our then PM Howard . The importation of Powder was banned & a whole generation of Shooter's were denied the US powder range that most of us had grown up with & for many years it's been a case of either ADI or Winchester powders! Alliant Powders are starting to appear on the Market again though & Fingers crossed we might see IMR again !
