Dont worry Bud , it wont get that deep !!!  been here for over 20 years , and the highest it has gotten was enough to let me float my 10 foot aluminum boat with me 3 tool boxes , 2 bags of feed, 3 bales of hay and my two kids to the road !!!
any how, if you come down for April, then we will get you some rubber boots and I will pick you up at the road in the boat !!! ( Your room is way about flood level !!  LOL!!!
Hey, we can cook all the fish you catch in the yard then !!!  Do you know how to clean gar fish ???  they seem to be the most prevalent in the yard during a flood down here !!

Same as a Pike I'd imagine.

Finally a barely sub-zero weekend, so I'm heading off to the range.

Was a swamp here. Came back with soggy feet, a piece missing from my stock (old repair that fell out and is now glued back in) and a target with bullets randomly scattered around it :).

I hosted a builders and belt fed shoot on Sunday. Weather was 82 and nice light wind. Down a few degrees next few days around here. Highs in the 70's. Lows mid 50's.
Watched 280 rounds of .303 wolf go flying out a Legal Full Auto Vickers. That was a sweet shooting machine. Had it offered to me with all of the bells and extras for a mere $27,000 US funds. plus $200 tax stamp of course. Nice real Nice for someone else. I'm going to have to settle for the pic that I took of it.

It has been more of a mess lately. Flooding. When I get back home I will post a couple pictures. My roads to my house are flooded. Water is finally going down. Nothing has gotten near the house, thankfully.

So Bear, if this winter is anything to go by; your gonna need a snowmobile and a row boat next year!
Glad to hear at least that the house is OK. Hope you are doing well and getting the place sorted out.
It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice!

This winter has actually been far more extreme than usual. But yes, I do need to invest in some extra equipment to make sure things go smoother next time it gets this bad. One thing is getting the tractor that came with the place running. That alone would be a massive help. I am getting more sorted but have a lot of cleanup to do once the snow is all melted. Storms and wildlife did a lot of tree damage.
