Newby here. Thanks for letting me in the group.
I just got a Ishapore 2a1 and it's missing the barrel shroud and ring.
What Enfield parts will work please?

Post some pictures and we can determine what all is missing and where you can find parts. Nomenclature is very important in finding the right parts and we can help with all that.

2A1 is an Indian-made 7.62mm NATO version of the Rifle No1 MkIII*(SMLE) Any SMLE upper & lower hand-guard should fit as should the metalwork for them.
The terminology you used isn't "normal" do it hard to answer beyond that at this point. It may also have been sporterised, making it even dodgier to ID the items.

That’s what this junior member from Florida meant to say.

Also, welcome.

I’m guessing he means the handguard(s) and the rear handguard retainer ring. Perhaps been sporterized…

I was thinking of the sling swivel band? #8, #9, #11?
Rear hand-guard retainer ring is a No4 part.

Right, it’s a No. 1 type rifle, I was thinking of a No. 4!
