ishy project for the Newby bore question

   Hi all, new to ishapores, absolutely in love with the smle.  Cut the barrel down for a not-so-standard sporter and I went to crown the barrel with a .300 pilot and it won't fit.  If anyone could offer some insight as to the minimum bore of these rifles (ishapores 2a1) I would much appreciate it,  thanks!

	Jammed a 168 smk down the barrel, pulled it out and mic'd across the grooves. Getting anywhere between .2975 and .2980. Doing some other reading, this was not uncommon practice to be able to function properly with a wide variety of 7.62x51 that may have had some not so good QA. Would love any more information if it's out there.
