I took the Faux L8A5T to the range Sunday and sighted in the new BSA 6-24×44 scope using Sierra 168grn HPBT projectiles. Everything went well. However, I have determined that the rifle should stay presentable and preserved as it is and will no longer be fired. It has been thoroughly cleaned and oiled accordingly.
 I will continue shooting the French Resistance No4Mk1 Maltby but very sparingly, keeping to shooting the Custom No4 Maltby as its intended. It does not look like it "kicks" too much but, looks can be deceiving...

i think i get where your going in that decision but is it because you want to sell it ? at a better price ? i commend that as well , if that is your intent , i sorta think shgooting them is whats intended if your going to keep it but then enjoyment is limited if your concerned of wearing it out i guess ,
anyway , nice looking rifles

A square. I do not intend to sell it. All of my Enfield rifles go to my daughters upon my passing.
