Right on! My Parker Hale .303's. The #1/MK3 model has a carbine barrel factory ordered that way. Both are in mint condition.

OK , back below zero [-8] now with wicked wind chills as it kicked to over 30mph today , hard to believe we were nearly 60 degrees warmer and it was muggie , dead calm and misting 24 hours ago when i was burning boxes on the fire ring down by the river ,
have i mentioned i hate winter these days of my life ? walk was wet but clear last night when i turned in - inch of snow over frozen ice now , last night the sump pump was running [never before in january] today the furnace is running non-stop , so much for the success of taxing global warming to control the weather [climate change] still think the government can control mother nature with a little [lot] more money ? ?? ??? ???? |

I sold this a long time ago. It was my first attempt at making my own Parker Hale rifle. I bought the Sile stock, the Sterling 7.62 magazine, the 7.62 barrel,7.62 extractor, and the Parker Hale scope mount and rings from Numrich Gun Parts. I regret ever selling it. |

Well, they are now, again! went from plus 12 C to minus 20C (w/o windchill) in 4 hrs. During the warm spell, we had rain - lots of it. When the temps went down that turned to freezing rain, then ice..then snow..& blew it all round. Came out of the north. My front door is facing north. It is completely frozen shut. Can't open from inside or out.
Methinks I'll go to the beer store & get enuf to wait it all out. |

I have a theory that the "Rodeo Song" was written for folks on the prairies in winter.

Actually, Hosers is a term of endearment for Canadians!! Bob and Doug McKenzie, eh?? Also, remember, the only official branch of the world wide military, to my knowledge, that still officially uses the Lee Enfield, which we all worship, is our very own Northern Rangers!! They live in this weather all the time! Man, these women and men are tough! God help the Ruskies if they come over from the north!
