Kustom 7.62x51 barrel. Update...

I will test fire it a couple of days from now. In the meantime  though.  I reshaped the crown,making it a tad more flat on the outside edge. Back cut the threads to allow for a better grip between the barrel and receiver. Refaced the barrel just past the threads and refaced the the chamber area removing the identical amount of metal from both areas to allow the barrel to index the extractor cutout to the receiver. The final step was refacing the bolthead. Everything fit exceptionally well,the bolt does not close on a field gauge.  The final length of the bolthead came to .621. My spare #0 measures in at .626. Looks like I am starting beyond fresh in regards to any headspace issue that might arise 4 or 5 decades from now.
