Nope!! The Guy said its an Enfield Target model rifle .....  Just trying to get a grasp on it ..He may want to get rid of it ....

I found this for you here: Basically the Envoy & Enforcer were 7.62mm conversions of the #4 rifle for police & civilian marksmanship needs.

There are some obvious differences between the L39a1 Target Rifle and the L42a1 Rifle. There is a User handbook for the "Rifles 7.62mm, L42A1 & L39A1 and Telescopes straight, Sighting L1A1" and an Illustrated parts Catalog for the aforementioned Rifles, scopes and 'Accessories' - which at the time of their production in 1971 and 1973 were both 'Restricted' Documents covered by the Official Secrets Act. L39a1 may have been what He called it .... We got into other subjects at that time ... So other than talking about the L42a1 We didnt stay on that subject long .....
He made His purchase agreement with Me ,Put a down payment and then admired My collection of Rifles and Pistols ....  Maybe when He comes back to get His PSL74C Romanian We will talk about the L39a1 He has ...Might just be a nice addition to My Enfield collection ...
