he!!o, I recently bought a 1916 Lee Enfield No1 Mk3* in pretty good condition. I wanted to take the magazine follower out and clean the inside of the magazine as I thought it was not performing correctly when I test fired it. After removing the follower I discovered that the magazine spring was snapped which would probably be the reason for the magazine not working correctly. Is there any way to fix it? Or will I need to make/buy a replacement spring? Any help would be appreciated!!

Clean the spring spotless and get a jeweler to silver solder it for you. Unless you can do that yourself. Or find a replacement and fit the spring in or purchase a complete follower and spring assembly. The last two options probably the cheapest and easiest.
