Hey There,

Anyone know/have/point me where to find some mounting bolts for a Parker Hale rear peep?  Going on where the rear volley sights used to be on my MLM.  No clue as to size or length - but assuming it's metric lol.

Assistance appreciated, thanks!

If it is a No.4 , yes, the thread will be BA.

If it is MLM or Sht.LE, the thread will be Enfield form.

If you can tell me which holes you want to use, I can tell you the exact thread size.

Both holes are threaded 0.1656 inch dia x 37 TPI with a 55 degree thread form I believe.

There are a couple of other Enfield screws that have same thread but not really suitable. eg Sht.LE sight cap screw. Butt trap door spring screw. Bayonet grip screws.

A substitute that will work in a pinch would be #8-36 and screws and can be found at good hardware stores. Not a perfect match but well good enough for mounting the sight.

Thanks English!!  Hmm I'll look on eBay as vintage bolts would be very nice... Home Depot when I get desperate.

Man you do know all!

This guy has, or can make any screw & he's familiar with what one goes where in which model & mark.

I also saw 2 sets for the older L-Es on E-Bay earlier today.

comes complete with the needed coil spring for the safety & the lock washer for the upper mounting screw.
