Pretty simple really. If its sold out of your state (TX) you ship it to an FFL in the state it is shipping to, who is picked by the recipient. He then processes the transfer paperwork for a small fee usually paid by the buyer.
Basically you & the buyer team up, he finds his local FFL (or may even be one) & tells you the info which you act on.
Don't shoot till you see the whites of their thighs. (Unofficial motto of the Royal Air Force)

And as far as shipping your best route is sending it in the mail. Yes, it is completely legal to do so as long as the person on the shipping address has an FFL. USPS is also faster and cheaper than any other method. The only thing is that you need to pull the bolt and package it next to the rifle in the box. And don't disclose it is a rifle, you do not have to disclose that. All you answer is No to the "Anything liquid, hazardous, perishable or fragile?" question. Been down this road a time or two myself

You live in Texas. You can just do Face to Face (FTF) if you want. Otherwise it is usually not that difficult. I use the Texas Gun Trader a lot. If you want to go that way.
