This is my flux 88 LEC project, It’s 1 of those projects that is all ways just simmering in the background. It lives right at the front of the safe so it’s always remembered. It’s started life as a 1901 BSA MLE 1*, it was cut down to a Sporter when I got it as a barrel action with a really badly cut up forestock. The new forestock turned up today, it does need a little bit of fitting work but not much. It was made locally here in New Zealand and the guy is going to make some hand guards for these too. It was when I was researching LEC that I found this sit and all of you knowledgeable people passed and present. Butt is dated 1901 and New Zealand issue.  The next job once the forestock is fitted will be to bend a bolt handle for it.
