Got a No1 Mk3 that I’m “restoring” back to military condition and I seem to be missing a part and can’t locate a source for it. Part of my problem is not knowing the name of it. It fits on the upper handguard behind the nose cap and appears to be brass and is held by two small wood screws. I’ve searched several commonly known sites and haven’t had any luck. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Thanks for the reply. I searched eBay earlier but couldn’t find it. Can’t believe the price of this little part!

Thanks… just ordered the part. No rivets available, but I’ll look elsewhere.

be careful on the rivets - you want them the correct size to prevent damage

I ordered some brass rivets from Grainger. Based on what little info I could find, I settled on 3/32 x 1/4”.
