I took a rifle in on trade and trying to figure out exactly what I have. Some markings seem to be gone over the clearest one is Ftr/47

"Factory Thorough Repair" (complete factory rebuild to like new & possibly upgraded to a later specification as well) in 1947. Probably at the Royal Ordinance Factory Fazakerly, near Liverpool.
Without a better description or pictures that's about all I can deduce.
Is it full length wood?
Does it resemble any of these?

How similar?
Does it have the flash hider on the end of the barrel?
Are the sights the same (graduated to 800 yds)?
Is the rear  swivel on the side like this one?
Sorry for all the questions, but the devil is in the details.
You may have a "Rifle No5 Mk1" aka a "Jungle Carbine", or it may be "Bubba" made a hunting rifle out of one of the others by cutting off wood & metal.
The price would vary enormously between the two.

UPDATED:
We talked on the phone & he has a "Santa Fe sporter", we're trying to figure out if its a No4 Mk1, a No4 Mk1*, or what. Its definitely not a No1 or a No5 though. It has the 300/500yd rear "L"sight & a 10 round magazine.
